Current Elevation Series (CIM) cubers document exactly three error signals, shown as flash patterns on the Power and Clean buttons — Error 1 (freeze or harvest ran too long), Error 2 (thermistor failure), Error 3 (fill or purge timed out) — plus a cleaning-reminder light combination. GEM/MFI nugget machines use a row of named indicator lights (SERVICE, WTR-OK, BIN FULL, PWR-OK, FREEZE) whose glow-versus-blink states are the diagnosis; the blinking SERVICE light even manages its own 4-minute auger retry before locking out. Older ICE Series cubers are electromechanical with no diagnostics at all — they just stop, and the two documented protective behaviors (harvest overheat safety, bin control) explain why.
